About
Linea Naviera Paramaconi
In Venezuela, we have complemented our market leading ocean transport service with full service transport logistics and crane erection services. With two offices (in Caracas and Guanta), an extensive agency network, and joint ventures with some of the worlds leading inland logistic companies-Intermarine can deliver virtually any size piece to any point in the country.
The first element of this capability consists of our heavy lift barge Carolina M and its tug Bravo. As many of the oil field and project development regions of Venezuela do not have access to deep water ocean ports, the ability to provide shallow draft transport is imperative. Intermarine has met this challenge with the positioning of the Carolina M - an ocean going, flat-deck heavy lift barge. With more than 2,000 square meters of cargo stowage area, the Carolina M can deliver cargo in water depths as little as one meter. Fully fitted with variable ballast pumping capability, the barge can align itself to a wide array of pier facilities (including the Petrozuata project dock at Jose).
For transport to and in Venezuela, Intermarine has all the pieces of the puzzle already put together. Ocean service includes multiple sailings per week from our primary loadcenter in Houston, Texas; monthly service direct from Japan & Korea to Venezuela and intermediate service via Houston; and custom constructed voyages from Europe to meet exact shipping schedules. Whether by positioning a ship from our fleet or drawing upon one of the other modern project/heavy lift vessels available to us through owner relationship agreements, we can respond to your immediate needs.
Once in Venezuela, Intermarine offers shallow draft cargo delivery to Jose or points up the Orinoco, heavy-haul inland transport and heavy-lift site erection services for pieces up to 1200 Metric Tons. While others speak of potential, Intermarine has the ability on the water and on the ground today.
