Industrial Terminals provides direct rail access at its Kavanagh dock. Designed to the heaviest load standards of any facility in the region, the K-Dock is capable of working vessels 550 feet long and drafts up to 33 feet with two gantry mounted cranes, each rated at a maximum capacity of 200 tons. The above photos depict an Intermarine vessel loading locomotives direct from the rail alongside the vessel. With plans approved, and construction scheduled to be completed in 2009 for an upgrade and lenghthening of our Dock 1 berth, Industrial Terminals continues to positioin itself to maintain its role as the leading project cargo terminal in the Port of Houston.
