Flexible Pipe Reels
Following is a set of photos showing one of Intermarine’s Century Class heavy lift vessels loading 250-ton reels of deepwater flexible pipe at Panama City for Brazil. Each reel is 28 feet in diameter and 20 feet wide. The box-shaped hatches along with the 400-ton lift capacity of the vessel allows handling the reels with ease.
