Loading Patrol Boats
An Intermarine heavy lift vessel, the Industrial Dream, recently loaded three patrol vessels at the port of Yokohama, Japan for Jakarta, Indonesia. The patrol vessels some 27 meters long and 5.6 meters wide were donated to Indonesia as part of Japan’s official development assistance (ODA). The patrol boats are being deployed to support anti-piracy activities in the Strait of Malacca. Intermarine’s Commercial Agent in Japan, Nissin Corporation, was instrumental overseeing the loading operations in Yokohama.
