Loading Yachts and Boats
The Industrial Century loads eight yachts at West Palm Beach, Florida for Ensenada, Mexico and Hitachi, Japan. The yachts ranged from 14 tons up to 134 tons. All yachts were floated alongside the vessel and loaded utilizing the ship’s gear which consists of two 200-ton cranes combinable for 400-ton lifts. The unobstructed deck of the Century Class vessels is ideally suited to handle yachts or project cargo. Intermarine’s Asia service routinely handles yachts on its westbound and eastbound legs subject to space availability.
