Intermarine moves four Rolls Royce turbine packages from Houston to Niteroi, Brazil. Weighing in at 202 metric tons each, the turbines were destined for the P56 Petrobras offshore deepwater oil development project under construction in Brazil. The transport of the turbines and accessories was made in three separate shipments. Intermarine offers service to Brazil every two weeks from its own terminal in Houston so it was very convenient to stage and schedule the moves. For the shipments Intermarine utilized The Industrial Egret, the Industrial Destiny and Industrial Dream all vessels capable of making lifts up to 500 tons. The Egret is one of four new E-Class vessels entering the fleet this year, while the Destiny and Dream are part of six D-Class vessels in the Intermarine fleet.
