Ducharne named CSM

Intermarine recently announced that April Gomez-Ducharne has been posted to the position of Customer Service Manager in Houston. April has direct management responsibility for all customer service-related activities for Intermarine’s North American services.
Commenting on the posting, Intermarine’s Vice President of Sales, Paul Wilson said “We are extremely happy to have April as part of our team. Her longevity with the company provides not only years of experience in project transportation, but brings the passion of Intermarine’s customer-focused approach to service. We often say that ships don’t move cargo, people do. April is one of those people that see the job is done right”.
A native of Venezuela, Ms. Gomez-Ducharne joined Intermarine’s New Orleans office in 1995 where she held the position of Assistant Operations Manager for the Americas Division. Subsequently, Ms. Gomez-Ducharne was transferred to Houston in 2000 to assume a supervisory position in the customer service department.
April holds a Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management and is fluent in English and Spanish. As Customer Service Manager, she manages the communication efforts with clients coordinating bookings and cargo deliveries.
