ExpoComex Argentina
October 9, 2008
Intermarine recently participated in the ExpoComex conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 24-26, 2008. At the show Intermarine introduced Carlos Morino as its new Commercial Representative for Argentina. Morino, stationed in Buenos Aires, replaces Patrick Fallon who moved to Intermarine’s office in Caracas, Venezuela.
Intermarine provides the finest and most frequent service from the US Gulf to Argentina with up to three sailings per month. The main ports of call are Houston and Buenos Aires. Other ports in Argentina, the US Gulf, or the US East coast are added on inducement. In addition, service between Argentina and the NCSA, WCSA, and Asia is provided via relay service over Houston. Most recently the company has been moving a variety of cargoes for the energy and mining industries of the country. In fact, just a few months ago one of Intermarine heavy lift vessels moved a total of six 260-ton generators from the US East Coast to the Port of Zarate.
The conference was attended by Eric Alber and Alberto Mejia from Intermarine New Orleans, as well as by Fernando Maruri and Patrick Fallon of Intermarine Caracas, and Carlos Morino of Intermarine Buenos Aires.
