Eagle calls Olympia WA
April 8, 2009
Intermarine's Industrial Eagle calls the Port of Olympia, Washington in the West Coast of the United States to discharge wind turbine components from Brazil. Upon completion of discharge operations in Olympia, the vessel is being positioned to the Far East to join Intermarine's intra-Asia service between the Far East, India, and Arabian Gulf. The Industrial Eagle is the first in a series of four newbuildings entering the fleet in a period of 12 months. Designated as the E-class vessels, these 10,000 dwt ships feature dual 250 metric ton cranes that may be combined for 500-ton lifts. The second vessel, the Industrial Egret was delivered in late February with the two remaining vessels delivering in intervals of 3-4 months thereafter.
