Eric Alber is the Vice President of Intermarine’s East Coast of South America service. He joined Intermarine in 1994 and held various sales and line management positions within the Asia service prior to shifting focus to South America. After graduating in 1986 from the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) at Kings Point, Mr. Alber started his maritime career as deck officer aboard merchant ships. In 1990, he came ashore to perform chartering and operations for Continental Grain Company. He holds a limited Masters license and an unlimited Third Assistant Engineers license. While working at Intermarine he also received an MBA in International Business from the University of New Orleans. Mr. Alber’s present duties include the overall management of the rapidly expanding project and heavy lift service between the US and the East Coast of South America.
