Richard Seeg is Intermarine’s Managing Director for Asia based in Shanghai, China. Having joined Intermarine in the late 90’s, he was Manager of Sales and Pricing in New Orleans for the company’s service from Asia to the United States prior to his posting to Asia. After more than 3 years in Seoul, Korea, he opened Intermarine’s Shanghai office in 2004 with two people. Today, Intermarine covers Far East, India and Arabian Gulf markets with 20 staff based in the Shanghai, Mumbai and Seoul offices.

Originally from Massachusetts, Mr. Seeg earned his MBA from Tulane University in New Orleans and a BA in Biology from Tufts University in Boston. He served as an officer in the US Navy for four years on-board a supply ship based out of Guam, and also worked two years in Vietnam for a trading company. His current responsibilities include the direct management of the company’s new intra-Asia service as well as the overall supervision of the company’s agents in Asia and Intermarine’s offices in the region.
