Gregory L. Stangel is the Vice President of Marketing and Systems for Intermarine. Aside from his marketing and systems responsibilities, Mr. Stangel serves as the management representative for the ISO 9001 Quality Program. He has been employed in marine transportation since 1975 when he began working for Lykes Bros. Steamship Co., which included a six year posting in Antwerp, Belgium, where he managed the company’s North European activities. Prior to joining Intermarine in 1994, he had risen to the title of Vice President of Customer Service and led a reengineering team whose charge was to consolidate and integrate the company’s diverse activities. He holds an MBA from Tulane University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois. Mr. Stangel relocated from New Orleans to Houston in 2005 and continues to manage Intermarine’s marketing and systems activities as well as provide oversight of Industrial Terminals.
