Routes

Asia’s fast growing project transportation market now has reliable on demand heavy lift service trading the entire Asian coast from Japan, Korea and China in the East, to the Arabian Gulf nations in the West and all points in between. Intermarine’s Far East, India and Gulf service combines some of the most modern and highest capacity heavy lift vessels with the proven expertise of America’s premiere project transport company to provide delivery certainty for industrial transport challenges.

Using vessels capable of 400 to 500 metric ton self sustained lifts, Intermarine’s Asia Service is perfectly suited to meet the needs of new oil and gas facilities in the Middle East, power generation plants in Southeast Asia, and infrastructure development projects across the continent. These modern 8,000 dwt vessels are designed without transverse bulkheads and can accommodate underdeck components up to 70 meters long. True project cargo workhorses, the new Intermarine C and D-Class vessels boast more than 11,000 cbm’s of underdeck capacity and a 16.5 knot service speed.

Offering multiple sailings per month from China, Korea and Japan, and utilizing regularly scheduled vessels that are dedicated to the trade-lane, our service has become the most frequent and flexible service in the trade.

The Far East, India and Gulf service is managed from the Intermarine’s Asian Headquarters Office in Shanghai under the direction of Intermarine’s Asian Managing Director, Mr. Richard Seeg. Supporting this group is a network of country agents hand selected for their expertise in heavy lift cargoes and breakbulk services.
