Terminal Services
The loadcenter for Intermarine’s North American services is our own Industrial Terminals, the largest project cargo facility in the United States. The terminal is also the primary handling facility for one of the countries largest importers of wind power generation equipment.
Located on 95 acres adjoining the Houston Ship Channel, Industrial Terminals provides 1,700 feet of deep water berths, a 1,500-foot barge terminal, covered warehousing, a roll-on/roll-off area, ample rail and truck access, and extensive cargo marshalling areas. Multiple deep water and barge berths allow numerous vessels to be serviced simultaneously. The facility now Includes the new heavy lift Kavanagh Dock with direct shipside rail access and capable of handling vessels 550 feet long and drafts up to 33 feet.
Most recently, Industrial Terminals started offering Express Delivery Lanes to expedite the receiving of pre-cleared cargo. Designated as ITEX, this new service allows those trucks that have provided delivery information in advance to go directly to the cargo laydown yard and have the cargo received on a priority basis. Many of Intermarine’s clients are taking opportunity of this service and are enjoying the prompt turn around of their trucks. Don’t miss the chance to take advantage of this special feature. Industrial Terminals is ideally located on the north shore of the Houston Ship Channel at Greens Bayou. Quick access is available to Interstate 10 via Industrial Road and Federal Road.
